"Majesty in Winter Skies", by Barry A. Conner, Copyright ©2018. The painting was inspired by a wonderful display of clouds, as they were being blown into the Central Texas Hill Country by a cold front, on a Thursday afternoon, December 13th, 2018. The painting was begun in the early-morning hours two days later, and was completed by that evening. The positive feedback the piece immediately began to receive has often included a common initial misconception that the image is a photograph, when actually it is an original handpainted canvas by lifelong artist Barry Conner.
